Attacking the staff isn't exactly the best idea for keeping a low profile -- but she's not going to let this thing force Sara into something she doesn't want to do either. So instead she begins to whisper in elder before letting a shock of lightening to send the nurse falling to the floor. Not dead, but unconscious, at least.
She holds her hand out for Sara, speaking out loud now.
"How," she gestures a hand at the nurse on the floor, "did you do that? Or the whole talking in my head thing?" She'll be properly grateful in a bit, but this confusion first as she finally sets the scalpel put.
She nods to Yennefer's hand, but doesn't take it. She stops to unstrap the poor person on the operating table.
It's the quick and simple answer to both of those questions. She'd be happy to go into more detail, but now isn't exactly the time.
Right. The person on the table, she had almost forgotten them. That probably says something about her. But they seem to get up and stumble their way out.
"And I thought the nightmare creatures and lack of abilities last time I was here was bad"
"Right. Magic. Like most of this place," she mutters with a feeble smile. She wants to get out of the room quickly, before anymore nurses and demons affect her. Once the person is free, they scramble away before Sara can even suggest they do so, fast.
Sara figures Yennefer is just anxious for anyone she knows in the hospital, or desperate to get out of the room. That's what she reads into it, at least, and gets it.
"It can definitely get worse. At least this time you have your magic." It helps. She heads for the door, but not before grabbing a few scalpels. "There's a storage room we can get disguises and scissors in."
"Last time I didn't. I remember that." It had been her first time losing her magic in this place, but not the last. Every time is worse than the last, making her feel defenseless and weak. She hates that feeling.
But she has people to save and that's what she needs to focus on now.
"Good. At least the uniforms are slightly better than the clothes they shoved me in last time."
Yennefer still has a grudge against those sweat pants.
"Then I'm just going to be grateful you showed up." She reaches a hand to put over Yennefer's.
Sara chuckles a little.
"Never a bad time to worry about fashion," she lightly teases. If anything, it helps her like Yennefer a little more, seeing into who she is. Might be. Besides, Sara likes dressing up for time shenanigans. Why should Hell be any different? She leads down the hall to the closet she mentioned. Next time she speaks, her voice is hushed.
"They're still way more drab that dressing for the early 1900s."
"My world tallys time differently, I think, so I will have to take your word for it."
Yennefer likes dressing up...but she has a certain aesthetic going for her and what the hospital outfits offer are far from it. But she's suffered worse than bad fashion and if it means she can get her people out? Then so be it.
"Your world sounds very different, so far. Maybe one day we can compare notes." Right now, trying to sneak through a hospital full of demons? Doesn't sound like that best time for that.
Sara laughs, lightly.
"I do have experience with it. I did a lot of sneaking around back home." A lot less in Hell, but she reverts to it with ease.
(it is much later that yennefer runs into sara. she is exhausted and depleted most of her magic reserves for the time being. she rescued jaskier, geralt, nate and whoever else she could find. it had been...a lot, to say the least. which is why she is heading to the bar in the hotel for a drink -- running into sara there.)
It looks like we both managed to get out in one piece.
[Sara had only managed to rescue Ray and Zari, and it didn't feel like enough. She wanted to keep going, but if they weren't careful, the demons might have caught them. So she rescued a couple of the nurses that were clearly on their side, instead.]
[Sara...needed a drink herself. Typically, she spends time at the club for that, but she stopped by the hotel bar after checking on Zari.]
[She gives Yennefer what could barely be called a smile, and lifts her whiskey.]
I did. Mostly. Not sure about my mental state. What about you?

Thankfully, it's enough to break the hold on her, but they still have a problem. The nurse whispering beside her.
It's very easy.
It takes a lot out of her to not look around, but she considers that might tip off the nurse.
"That's not what I came here to do," Sara says in a frustrated tone as she tries to put the scalpel down. Instead, it gets closer to skin.

I'll handle this

"We shouldn't wait for her to wake up."

"You seem used to sneaking in places like this."
Not an accusation, just an observation.

"Yes, when the stakes are less dire." She agrees that right now? Not exactly the time for it.
But things will calm down. They always do here, one way or another.
"Something else you'll have to tell me about later. Maybe over some wine."
Want to skip ahead to later? I figure they parted to split up and find specific people.
Wine it is. [She gives a nod.] Later.
that works for me, if this doesn't work at all, let me know
